Reviews and Ratings
I had a delightful stay at this hotel! The rooms were inviting, comfortable, and quiet, with tastefully furnished decor creating a cozy atmosphere. The service was helpful and friendly, although communication was a bit challenging due to language barriers. The location was exceptional, right within the old citadel area, offering a unique experience near historical sites. The dining experience was satisfactory, offering typical Turkish breakfast fare. The facilities were well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience.
The hotel is a hidden gem tucked behind the walls of a historical castle, perfect for family travels. The rooms overlook the main street and offer a miraculous stay. While the location is a captivating journey back in time, exploring it at night might not be advisable due to ongoing renovations. The dining, although delicious, may seem meager compared to past buffet breakfasts. The facilities and services provided are top-notch for a truly memorable stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The beautiful wooden rooms with antique furniture and comfy beds were a delight, but the location above a busy area made me a bit cautious at night. The service was exceptional with helpful staff but limited dining options. The facilities were great, offering comfort and convenience.
The hotel rooms felt incredibly spacious, perfect for breakfast and lounging. They were miraculously occupied, of a normal size, had satellite TVs, and radiators and air-conditioners for warmth. The friendly staff helped with our train bookings, taxi bookings, food recommendations, and any request we could think of. They even took care of guests' demand to have breakfast some earlier. The location was great for the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and the citadel, situated in a touristy area around Ankara citadel. The dining consisted of the typical Turkish breakfast, still top-notch albeit meager compared to the buffet breakfasts held in the past. The facilities were satisfying. The hotel is overall a convenient and comfortable place to stay, but the dining experience might leave you wishing for more variety.
